In 1982 Adan Peña bought himself a 1972 International and became an owner-operator. After working in the industry for 3 years and learning the ropes, he partnered with his brother Angel and started buying and selling trucks locally.

The first truck they bought together was a 1979 1116 Mercedez Benz. There was no dealership yet, but that didn’t stop them. They parked the truck on the corner of 3rd and Rampart in Los Angeles with a For Sale sign until they found a buyer.

Since their humble beginnings, Peña Truck Center has grown into a well-respected family business. Peña Truck Center has sold thousands of trucks to people across the country, focusing on helping other people grow their own businesses.
